The International Journal of Medical and Allied Biosciences (IJMAB)
welcomes original and scientifically sound manuscripts that advance knowledge in
medicine, allied health sciences, biomedical sciences, clinical practice, public
health, diagnostics, education, and healthcare innovation. Authors should review
these instructions carefully before submission.
Ensure that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously,
is not under consideration elsewhere, and has been approved by all listed authors.

Manuscript Preparation
- Use clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.
- Submit the manuscript in Microsoft Word format.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Apply double-line spacing throughout the document.
- Number all manuscript pages consecutively.
- Use standard international scientific terminology.
Structure of an Original Research Article
Abstract and Keywords
Original research manuscripts should include a structured abstract of
up to 250 words using suitable headings such as Background, Methods,
Results, and Conclusion. Authors should provide 3β6 relevant keywords,
preferably using recognized medical subject terminology.
References
References should follow the Vancouver citation style and should be
numbered consecutively in the order in which they first appear in the
text. Authors are responsible for verifying the completeness and
accuracy of every citation.
Tables and Figures
- Number tables and figures consecutively.
- Provide a concise title for every table.
- Include a complete legend for every figure.
- Submit clear, publication-quality images.
- Explain abbreviations below the relevant table or figure.
Ethical Requirements
- Human research must include ethics committee approval.
- Informed consent must be obtained where applicable.
- Patient identity and confidential information must be protected.
- Animal research must follow institutional and national standards.
- Funding and conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
Originality and Plagiarism
Manuscripts must represent original work and must be free from plagiarism,
duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, and inappropriate
authorship. Submissions may be screened using plagiarism-detection software,
and serious concerns may result in rejection or further editorial action.
Peer Review
Submitted manuscripts are initially assessed for relevance, completeness,
originality, and compliance with journal requirements. Suitable manuscripts
are then evaluated by independent experts. The editorial decision may be
acceptance, revision, resubmission, or rejection.
Copyright and Open Access
Articles published in IJMAB are made accessible under the journalβs
open-access policy. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy,
originality, ethical compliance, and legal permissions associated with
their work, including permission to reproduce previously published material.
